Apple MacBook pro just cant seem to catch a break
Apple MacBook Pro just can’t seem to catch a break. We have witnessed several reports and multiple users first complaining about the keyboard followed by the heat throttling issue. Now few days after Apple fixed the heat throttling issue, another one has cropped up. Several MacBook Pro users have taken it to Reddit forums and YouTube talking about the faulty speakers in the computing machine.
It has been reported that the issue with the speakers are found in both 13-inch and 15-inch models. For most of them, the speakers are causing a cracking or a distortion in the resulting audio. The distortion is said to be present even when the audio is played in a low volume.

One of the users showcased the issue in a video as well on YouTube. Apple has not yet revealed as to what is the exact reason for the issue. However, The Next Web, citing a source, says that the company is aware of this and is looking in to it.
Although, according to user feedback, the reason for this could be anything. Some say this issue crops up with specific applications such as Apple Music, iTunes or Garage Band. Some of the users claim that speakers give a cracking sound when playing YouTube videos.
MacBook Pro users on MacRumours forum says that this could be due to radio interference due to lack of shielding. Some other potential causes include faulty audio drivers or possible due to Apple’s T2 chip. A user added that there is a fix coming in next macOS ‘Mojave’ beta but this can’t be confirmed for now.

For now the issue doesn’t seem to be widespread but it does question the quality control by Apple as this is not the first fault in MacBook Pros this year. The company recently fixed the keyboard issue by launching new line of MacBook devices and a keyboard replacement program. The heat throttling issue was also addressed few days ago via an update.
